Happy #DontFryDay ☀️ We're teaming up with @skincancerprev to help reduce rising rates of skin cancer from overexposure to the ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun.
The National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention has designated the Friday before Memorial Day as “Don’t Fry Day” to encourage sun safety awareness and to remind everyone to protect their skin while enjoying the outdoors.
Do you like helping others? Are you a leader and mission driven person looking to make a difference in your community?
If so, Ulman Foundation is hiring a 2022-2023 @americorps member with @volunteer_maryland to launch our volunteer Ambassador Program. You must live in Maryland, able to serve 40 hours a week, and travel to Crownsville, MD for program training.
You will gain professional development, a modest living allowance, an education award of $6,495, opportunity to support young adults and their loved ones impacted by cancer, and so much more.

When Ryan Ferro recounts the three weeks he spent awaiting the analysis of the lemon-sized brain tumor he’d just had surgically removed in 2017, it’s easy to envision an actuarial table being constantly re-calculated in a cloud of numbers over his now-permanently bald head — like a special effect in a movie or a thought bubble in a comic strip. Ryan, a T. Rowe Price Investment Analyst, was just 32 when he experienced a seizure which would lead to the discovery of brain cancer...
