Our 4K for Cancer teams will be stopping by Longmont, CO on July 11 and South Lake Tahoe, CA on August 3. Mail them a letter or care package to be waiting for them when they arrive! Gift cards of any kind are great, grocery store gift cards, and gas cards will also help fuel our team... literally!
The Ulman Foundation asserts that patients should have the right to choose any medical path that supports the outcome they desire. We join the many who oppose any actions that restrict a person’s access to healthcare.

Our @4kforcancer teams need a place to stay!
What's it take to be a 4K host? Not much! All they need is a safe place with a floor to sleep on, a sink, and a toilet. Showers are a bonus but not required as is breakfast or dinner. The team is fully vaccinated and arrives in the late afternoon/evening and gets back on the road in the morning.
Got any leads? Send an email to [email protected] to host our teams!
Lisa is a social worker by training. She believes strongly in the need to create spaces in which people can thrive, and she’d be the first to declare that "community is everything!"
However, Lisa hadn’t invested in the creation of a community for herself as it related to her life with cancer. Several months into the “scanxiety” phase of living with cancer, and having to wait six months longer than recommended by her doctors for each scan because of insurance policies, Lisa opened her mind to cancer-specific support.
