A Monthly Virtual Peer Support Space for Queer Cancer Patients
Here, Queer, and Supported is a monthly virtual gathering for queer-identifying cancer patients and caregivers to connect, share, and be in community with others who understand.
This space is designed to be affirming, flexible, and real. Whether you’re navigating a diagnosis, supporting someone you love, or living in survivorship, you’re welcome here. You can come to talk, to listen, or simply to be.
For many queer individuals, cancer care and support spaces don’t always reflect the full picture of their experiences. This group exists to change that—offering a space where identity doesn’t need to be explained, and where conversations about relationships, caregiving, bodies, family, and the everyday realities of life can happen openly and without judgment.
Led by queer members of the Ulman Foundation team, this is a peer-based, non-clinical space grounded in shared experience and connection. While facilitators help guide the space, this is not a therapy group. If additional support is ever needed, our team can help connect participants to resources.
