About the Honolulu Marathon

As the fourth largest marathon in the United States, after New York, Chicago and Boston, the Honolulu Marathon is at the top many runners’ bucket lists. The course begins on Ala Moana Boulevard and finishes in Kapiolani Park — just 100 yards from the ocean!

Not only does this race serve as a Boston Marathon qualifier, but the awe-inspiring course also is mainly flat (!), has NO TIME MINIMUM, and requires no prior qualifiers — making it an ideal race for first-time marathoners and experienced marathoners alike!

Why Join Team Ulman?

Ulman Foundation provides:

  • Ulman custom jersey & jacket
  • Race weekend experience (epic cheer squad), including pre-race team luncheon on Saturday, December 7, 2024

Cancer Changes Lives – So Can YOU!

A cancer diagnosis between the ages of 15 and 39 is nearly eight times more common than such a diagnosis during the first 15 years of life. Despite advances in early detection, treatment, and prevention, there’s been no improvement within the last 30 years in survival rates for this particular age group — and in fact, the gap between the survival rates of young adults and those of cancer patients in other age groups is widening.

By running on Team Ulman, you make it possible for adolescents and young adults with cancer to have access to essential resources and psychosocial programs provided through the Foundation, including; Patient Navigations services, Ulman House – the country’s only FREE hospitality home for young adults and their caregivers, Cancer to 5K – a program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity, among countless other support groups and social programs.
