RUN FOR A REASON

Run in the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend with Team Ulman

November 20-22, 2026

Philadelphia Marathon Weekend offers an unforgettable race experience through one of America’s most historic cities, and there is no better way to take it on than with Team Ulman.

Whether you are racing through the energy of Center City in the 8K, half-marathon or tackling 26.2 miles past Philadelphia landmarks and along the scenic Schuylkill River, every step of the course becomes even more meaningful when you run for something bigger than yourself.

As a member of Team Ulman, you will help young adults facing cancer access the support, housing, and community they need during one of the hardest times of their lives.

You will also gain a team behind you every step of the way with fundraising support, race weekend camaraderie, and a community that will remind you why every mile matters.

Whether you are chasing a new challenge, checking a race off your bucket list, or running in honor of someone you love, you will cross the finish line on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway knowing your miles made a difference.

Registration & Fundraising Requirements

To become a registered Team Ulman runner, you must commit to fundraising a minimum of:

Full: $1,000 | Half: $875 | 8K: $500

Why Join Team Ulman?

Cancer Changes Lives – So Can YOU!

A cancer diagnosis between the ages of 15 and 39 is nearly eight times more common than such a diagnosis during the first 15 years of life. Despite advances in early detection, treatment, and prevention, there’s been no improvement within the last 30 years in survival rates for this particular age group — and in fact, the gap between the survival rates of young adults and those of cancer patients in other age groups is widening.

By running on Team Ulman, you make it possible for adolescents and young adults with cancer to have access to essential resources and psychosocial programs provided through the Foundation, including; Patient Navigations services, Ulman House – the country’s only FREE hospitality home for young adults and their caregivers, Cancer to 5K – a program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity, among countless other support groups and social programs.
